INTRA-ART CLINIC & LIVE PRESENTATION

Inspired by the previous Sacred Bridge groundbreaking camping grounds for cross-cultural learning, such as Rhythm Salad League (2006-2020), Gaung (2009), Intrasia (2012-2013), the clinic component has been inseparable ever since. The reason is obvious, as it represents the actual groundwork that directly puts Polyphonic Co-Creation into practice. Aside from the search for new artistic discoveries, it provides an interactive platform whereby attendees become part of the performance as much as facilitators, whereby polyphonic co-creation becomes a medium that includes all who take part.

Alongside pre-conceived artworks to be presented as art/music/dance, the workshops of the intra-art clinic allow new creations to be made throughout the duration of Intra-Chromatic, whereby the synergy between all involved, and the inspirational leadership of facilitators, allows authentic new works to be made, alongside exchanges of information, learning processes for all involved, and perhaps above all, new friendships formed.

The resulting outcome is usually an authentic amalgamation of contrasting (sometimes conflicting) ideas; a convergence of traditional and unconventional materials to produce something authentic, yet similarly relatable for all who take part, as a key component to such initiatives is to ensure that the journey is as enjoyable as it is productive and enriching for all involved. As with previous incentives, it is highly likely that the clinic can result in further opportunities and collaborations for all involved if the outcome is satisfactory for everyone (which is usually the case!).

The new art created will subsequently be presented to the public on the final day of Intra-Chromatic on February 10th, to showcase the outcome of the journey of all who took part in the Intra-Art Clinic.
